“Hello everyone, thank you for this incredible honor,” she said. “I wish I could be there with you right now… ‘Night Therapy’ is a series about healing, about grief, about love and I love this series so much. This role is meaningful for me on the most personal level, so thank you Raanan [Caspi], our creator and writer of the show.”

Haas also extended her thanks to her production partners, co-star Yousef Sweid, and her family, including her late mother.

“I want to thank my mom, whom I miss every day and every moment, and like everything in my life, this incredible achievement is thanks to her and for her,” she added.

Additionally, Israeli creator Ben Shani was present at the festival with his film “Table for Eight,” nominated for the Golden Nymph Award.

Shani’s film, part of the popular current affairs and investigative show “Uvda,” explores the life of Abigail Edan, four years old, a US-Israeli dual citizen who was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists on October 7 – after her parents were killed in their home by the terrorists — and later released as part of a ceasefire arrangement.
