Volunteer pickers help transfer unwanted fruit and vegetables from Israeli fields to people in need.

Non-profit organization Table to Table collects and distributes unwanted and unused food from crop fields, or from functions like weddings and Bar Mitzvah’s to the poor and needy across Israel.

Founded by one man who collected food in the back of his car, the organization has grown enormously over the last six years. Today it supplies 50,000 meals a month to people living anywhere from the north of Israel to Beersheva, and works with hundreds of non-profits, NGOs, and families.

Fighting for Israel's truth

We cover what makes life in Israel so special — it's people. A non-profit organization, ISRAEL21c's team of journalists are committed to telling stories that humanize Israelis and show their positive impact on our world. You can bring these stories to life by making a donation of $6/month.
