Dancers from the Batsheva Dance Ensemble rehearse a new dance, Project Secus, at the company’s studio in the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Tel Aviv.

Batsheva, Israel’s most famous contemporary dance company, was founded in 1964 by Baroness Batsheva de Rothschild and celebrated its jubilee year this year. Since 1990 choreographer, Ohad Naharin, has been the company’s artistic director.

This week’s photograph was taken by Hadas Parush/Flash90.

If you’ve got a photograph you’d like to feature on ISRAEL21c please send it in high resolution to info@israel21c.org. Every week we will choose the best one to feature on our pages.
