“We are proud to be featured in Apple’s new nationwide advertising campaign in the US and Japan,” it reads at the top of the Look&Cook page in Apple’s app store. The Israeli app featuring recipes by top chef Meir Adoni
is being hailed as one of the best reasons to purchase the new iPad Mini.
Israeli startup Kinetic Art created the Look&Cook platform for the iPad. It includes video clips, step-by-step explanations, and high resolution photos of the making process and finished product.
The cookbook market for tablets is a growing one. Kinetic Art added a voice command feature on its Look&Cook app so the user can scroll backwards or forwards without touching the iPad Mini while cooking.
The English version of the Look & Cook app sells for $5 at Apple app stores. A Hebrew app will be available soon.
