Israelis are hopeful for a handful of medals at the 2012 London Games.
Judokan Ariel Zeevi and windsurfers Shahar Zubari and Lee Korzits are being pinned as Israel’s best hopes for medals at the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London. The Olympic Committee of Israel recently approved its list of 38 athletes to compete at the Summer Olympics. The Committee also said that Zubari, who won the bronze medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, will be Israel’s flag bearer at this month’s Games.
