magisto goodMagisto, the Israeli-made cloud-based mobile video platform, features in Amazon’s newly announced Amazon Fire TV. The American online retailer believes the blue-and-white technology gives it that extra oomph over competitors in the streaming television field.

Magisto, started in 2009 by two Israeli vision technology experts, is driven by artificial intelligence and enables users to create and share top quality personal videos with a click of a button. Amazon Fire TV users will be able to build their own libraries and watch them on their TV sets.

“We are thrilled that Magisto is now available for Amazon Fire TV,” said Mike George, vice president of Amazon Appstore and Games. “Customers now have access to their favorite video and photo memories right in their living rooms, displayed in a visually stunning way. Magisto has developed a fast and engaging app, and we know that our customers will love experiencing it on the Amazon Fire TV.”

The Magisto video editing platform does the editing for you and even suggests music for your video.

“Professionally produced movie and television programming made their way to the digital world several years ago, but personal video has been conspicuously absent from the evolving TV experience, because, until now, it was difficult to make video content that was worth sharing. Magisto has changed that and now with Amazon Fire TV, our users can share their stories with the richness and grandeur that a large screen TV provides,” said Oren Boiman, co-founder and CEO of Magisto.
