Forget Miley, in Israel, the most talked about YouTube clip at the moment is a wedding celebration in Hebron. The short video shows IDF soldiers, in full military gear, dancing joyfully alongside Hebron residents at an Arab wedding.

South Korean pop superstar PSY, the King of YouTube and Viral Star of 2012, crossed all religions and populations and got the world dancing with his smash hit, Gangnam Style. It is his song being played in the background while wedding guests hoist IDF soldiers on their shoulders and dance together in spontaneous delight.

The online video – filmed by a smartphone user — has now surfaced from the Hebron wedding and is creating a mega buzz.

Talkbacks are hailing the clip as a sign of peace in the region.

According to local reports, the soldiers were probably called to the scene because of a loud noise complaint in the Hebron neighborhood, when they discovered a party in the making. The soldiers chose to join in the celebrations, contrary to Army protocol.

According to Haaretz, an IDF official statement read “the clip has been taken down from the web, and the soldiers that were involved and participated in the party have been suspended pending an investigation.”

But viewers online say the soldiers and wedding guests only prove that music is a universal language of unity and friendship.
