The Hebrew word “chen” means “grace” and professional still photographer Noam Chen’s work personifies the term.

Chen uses the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technique to capture beautiful moments in Israel – whether those moments occur in urban areas, nature, as lanscapes, portraits or fashion photos.

To celebrate the Jewish New Year 5774, Chen has released a must-see video on his YouTube channel, Views of The Holy Land. This online greeting card / travelogue presents riveting photos from around the country.

As we enter this New Year with the specter of troubling times looming ahead, Chen’s images offer a moment of grace as light breaks through the clouds. From Jerusalem…

Tel Aviv…

The Marina at Herzliya …

The Galilee to the north…

To many more images from Israel taken over this past year.

All photos presented by permission of the photographer. Some images were taken on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, who number among a client list that includes National Geographic Magazine, Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo, the Tel Aviv 100 celebration and others. More Noam Chen images can be viewed here, on his website and on his Facebook page.
