“Bad Design” was one of the quirkier of the many exhibitions open to the public during the third annual Jerusalem Design Week. Curator Leo Lieberman of AF magazine approached 30 well-known Israeli designers to participate.

Here you’ll see oddities such as benches impossible to sit on, vases that cannot hold flowers, pitchers unable to pour water.

Jerusalem Design Week, held last month, is a project of the Jerusalem Development Authority’s Center of Design. In addition to exhibitions installed in several different venues, it also includes seminars, professional meetings for designers and tours.
